The first important question to ask: why listen to me?

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah Julia, which lead me to the title of Traveling with SJ. This website is a way to show my authentic way of traveling through my spunky point of view. I am always on the go due to my love of change and challenges. My mindset makes it possible for me to explore and see the world from a different perspective. I am willing to ask questions and listen to the responses. Questions are my number one travel tool.

I have spent my life in the pursuit of the answers to my questions. Currently, I am a graduate student at Johnson and Wales in Providence, RI studying Global Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development. For my bachelor’s degree, I went to Boston University for Hospitality Administration Management. From a professional background, I have worked for restaurants, event planners, venues, and Disney World. I have focused my work journey on ideas and things that I love. I want to be someone who is excited to wake up and find an adventure in every aspect of my life.

In my hometown of Memphis, TN, I am known as the girl on the go. Every time I am home, it is always fun to share my most recent adventures with my family and friends. I have traveled to over 35 countries and 5 continents. Within the USA, I have seen a few national parks, a couple major cities, and the open road. The world is meant to be explored and I am here to show you what I have learned from asking questions along the way.

There are hundreds of thousands of blogs out on the big World Wide Web, yet here I am trying to create another one. I will explore the world with you through giving suggestions, asking hard questions, and discovering together what makes the world so unique. We have the ability to work together and explore.
